Welcome to The Heart of Gold Canyon, AZ

The Gold Canyon Community Center is a place for Gold Canyon residents, groups, and organizations can gather to socialize, conduct meetings, celebrate an event, or just drop by and visit and make new friends. We are not open every day but with the help of volunteers who have a spare few hours, we can open the doors more often

(see schedule below).

Our Story

This all began from surveys conducted by Gold Canyon residents that indicated a need for a place to bring together the community. There were limited facilities open as a place for people to just gather or have events that didn't compete with church activities or commercial interests. This location became available and Gold Canyon Community, Inc. made arrangements to kickstart this community resource.

Through the efforts of many community volunteers, this location was transformed into a welcoming, relaxing, and multifunctional facility. Community sponsors and supporters are providing funding with the intent that it will be self-supporting shortly. Local artists are welcome to display their work on a rotating basis which adds to the ambiance as well as gives local artists visibility for their work.

 

Hours of operation (subject to volunteer availability):

  • Mon. - 10:00 am to 4:00 pm

  • Tues. - 10:00 am to 4:00 pm

  • Wed. - 10:00 am to 4:00 pm

  • Thur. - 10:00 am to 4:00 pm

  • Fri. - 10:00 am to 1:00 pm

Volunteers Needed

Join our team of Volunteers if you would like to help staff the facility to greet people, give a tour of the facility, open or close the building, help schedule events, or help maintain the facility.

Schedule an

EVENT with us

If planning an event please review our policy & procedures.  If you agree with our policies and would like to reserve the space for a meeting, to celebrate an event, or just to have a small gathering then:

  1. Reserve space by scheduling your event

  2. Complete a Space Rental Application.

  3. Upon review, we'll confirm your scheduled event. 

​

At this time rental fees are negotiable
